Disclaimer

It is tough to maintain objectivity when you are both the judge and the judged at the same time. The topics and companies about which I write on this blog are often competitors, direct and indirect, and players in related fields. In such a scenario it is difficult to maintain the same degree of objectivity when you have to include your own company in the posts that you write about.

I know it is not the best way to go about it, but I don’t think it would be fair to write with information that I cannot disclose here (irrespective of whether I am authorized to speak about it or not) or to write with an obvious bias about the company I work for, while I would not have the same degree of information about the rivals.

The shorter version of the story is that I’ll refrain from writing here about my employers as much as possible. Mind you, this is not being done under any kind of pressure from the company. So any kind of comments I make should not be misconstrued as being representative of them.

On a slightly less important tangent, I do not own any shares in the companies I write about or that I have written about till date. If this situation were to change ever I will make it clear in the post itself.
